Harly Blumhagen received her Bachelor of Social Work and Masters of Social Work degrees from the University of Missouri - Columbia. Harly began her career serving children and families at Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Columbia, MO. In this role, Harly worked with families experiencing crises, provided them with psychosocial support, and helped them obtain needed resources. Harly is currently employed with an inpatient acute psychiatric hospital where she works with children and adolescents ages 5-18. Harly works with children and adolescents to obtain needed skills, safety plan, and identify supports to feel more confident when discharging from the hospital. Harly has always guided her social work practice based on the biosocial theory and views all of the clients she works with through a dialectical framework.
